NUZUL AL-QUR'AN: SUATU KESINAMBUNGAN RISALAH TAUHID (THE REVELATION OF THE QUR'AN: THE GREATEST GIFT TO MANKIND)
"
"Briefly stated, the purpose of al-Qur'an is to guard the previous revelations (Zabur, Taurat, Injil) and to:
- restore the eternal truth of God;
- guide mankind to the Straight Path;
- quicken the soul of human;
- awaken the human conscience; and
- enlighten the human mind.
Serious scholars, Muslims and non-Muslims alike, have concluded beyond doubt that the Qur'an we use today is the very same Book which Muhammad (peace be upon him) recieved, taught, lived by, and bequeathed to humanity almost fourteen centuries ago.
It is incumbent upon every Muslim, man and woman, to recite a portion of al-Qur'an every day in prayer and during the night vigilance. Recitation of the Qur'an is to the Muslims a high form of worship and a daily practice.
The Qur'an today as it first came down, and as it always will be. There has never been any addition, no ommision, and no corruption. Its history is as clear as daylight. The authenticity is unquestionable. Its complete preservation is beyond doubt.
When Muhammad (peace be upon him) first launched the Call of God, his only power was the Qur'an. His only wisdom was the Qur'anic wisdom. The penetrating dynamism is tremendous and irresistible.
The distinctive approaches of the Qur'an are aimed at the general welfare of human and are based on the possibilities within his or her reach. The Qur'an does not brand human as helpless, or hopeless creature, or drowned in sin from womb to tomb. Instead, it portray human as a noble, honorable and dignified being.
The Qur'an embraces all walks of life and covers the principles of human affairs from the most personal matters to the complex international relations. It deals with human activities and transactions in such a way as to give them a Divine flavour and a moral touch. It makes the presence of God felt in every single activity and transaction.
Human is merely a trustee in the vast domain of God. The sole purpose of human creation is to worship God. So the Qur'an is to free the mind from doubt, liberate the soul from sin and emancipate the conscience from subjugation.
The practicability of the Qur'anic teachings is established by the examples of Muhammad (peace be upon him) and fellow Muslims throughout the ages. Everything is carefully placed where it belongs in the total scheme of creation.."

Sempena Nuzul Qur'an (17 Ramadan setiap tahun: 2009 = 7 September), negeri Perak Darul Ridzuan mewartakan cuti umum.
Insya-Allah...
